BAHAMAS
The Summer Mistress is capable of cruising the beautiful Bahama waters. One of our favorite ports is Lucaya, a tropical paradise where you can swim, snorkel, and fish in the crystal clear turquoise waters by day, then enjoy moonlit entertainment along the waterfront in the evening. For a change of pace, Lucaya boasts an open-air straw market, white sandy beaches, many fine restaurants, and a casino, all within walking distance of the marina. This is a popular destination for a medley of experiences.
For the serious fishermen, Walker’s Cay is the destination of choice. The waters around this tiny island abound with many types of game fish, from blue marlin and wahoo to red snapper and grouper. The marina boasts a refreshing pool, complete with pool bar and restaurant.
FLORIDA KEYS
The Keys are a favorite
playground for anyone who loves the smell of the ocean breeze and
the feel of warm turquoise water. There are many things to do and
see in the Keys, but getting there is half the fun. We can cruise
south down the Intracoastal waterway, marvel at the luxurious
mansions and yachts in Ft. Lauderdale, and stop at some of
the premier marinas along the way. A visit to John Penndecamp
marine sanctuary in Key Largo is a must if snorkeling is
on your agenda. Marinas abound in the Keys and one of our
favorites is Marina Del Mar, 
complete with a dockside pool and large
jacuzzi. No trip to the Keys would be complete without an
excursion to Key West. The shops and galleries of Duval
St., as well as the spectacular sunsets are worth the
journey. Cruising, fishing, swimming, and snorkeling by day then
relaxing with cocktails and great cuisine in the evening makes
for a fabulous vacation. It just doesn’t get any better than
this!
