The accommodations aboard the Summer Mistress contribute to the uniqueness of your Ocean Adventure trip. She is a one-of-a-kind, 47 foot Burdge custom built yacht (1992) sporting a 16 foot beam and enclosed fly bridge. While extremely comfortable cruising at lower speeds, the Summer Mistress can also attain speeds of over 30 knots.
While relaxing out of the sun or during the evening hours, you’ll enjoy the spacious air conditioned interior which includes the salon (with sofa sleeper and entertainment center), two staterooms, a fully equipped galley, and a full head with separate shower.
She is fully equipped to easily locate favorite fishing spots and dive sites. In addition to auto pilot and electronic fish finding equipment, navigation is enhanced by two Global Positioning System (GPS) units with a chart plotter, as well as a Loran unit, a 36 mile radar, two marine radios, and a single sideband radio.
Of course, your safety at sea is of primary importance, and the Summer Mistress meets or exceeds all U.S. Coast Guard requirements. Safety equipment includes an Emergency Position Indicator Radio Beacon (EPIRB) transmitter, a Safety Of Life At Sea (SOLAS) approved life raft, and Coast Guard Type 1 life jackets.
